Athletics Well Represented At Healthwaves 5KMay 30, 2012On May 19, Healthwaves and Newport News Shipyard sponsored the annual 5k race that started and finished at Victory Landing Park near VASCIC in downtown Newport News. The Apprentice School Athletic Department, sponsored by the Apprentice Athletic Club, was well represented in the event.

Marcus Chevres, Isaih Harrison Named Apprentice School Co-Athletes Of The YearMay 04, 2012A pair of record-breaking seniors were recognized on Friday as the 2011-12 Apprentice School Co-Athletes of the Year. Senior wrestler Marcus Chevres and men’s basketball senior Isaih Harrison will be honored by the Peninsula Sports Club at its annual Headliners Night on June 18 with the award.
