Newport News, VA – The Apprentice School Athletic Department and Head Golf Coach, Joey Maben, have officially released the Builders’ 2022 golf schedule.  After a successful fall season, another challenging and competitive spring awaits the Apprentice School Golf team.  The Builders will look to improve on their top 10 USCAA National Tournament finish, while also getting the younger players more competitive time on the course.

The Builders will open up the spring in Ocean Isle, NC when they participate in the Pfeiffer Invitational on February 28^th and March 1^st.  After a two week break, Apprentice will head back down south as they compete against Shenandoah and Campbellsville in a 4-day event in Orlando, FL, beginning March 15th and then return home to face Virginia Wesleyan on March 19^th and 20^th.  On March 28^th, the Builders will be a part of the annual Glenn Heath Memorial in Williamsburg, VA and conclude the spring season in Jacksonville, NC where they will participate in the Camp LeJune Memorial, which will be held April 7^th – 10^th. 

“This is an exciting schedule for the team and we will begin preparing for it in February”, said Head Coach Joey Maben.  “This will be the first time that we will participate in the Pfeiffer Invitational and we are thrilled to be invited back to the Camp Lejune Invitational.  While we will be in small numbers again, but I expect that we will play very well and improve on our strong fall performance”.
