Newport News, VA – The Apprentice Athletic Department has announced that Senior Golfer, David Grimm has been named The Builder Student-Athlete of the Week, in additon to being named the Eastern Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week.  Grimm, a Senior from Gloucester, VA, helped the Builders defeat Virginia Wesleyan University this past week, to earn their first match win of the season.  On day one of the event, Grimm finished with a team high 83, which was also his second best round of the season.  He showed the same consistency on day two, shooting an 85 to help his team secure the win.  On the year, Grimm’s leads Apprentice with a scoring average of 83.
