Baseball Ranked Fifth In Latest USCAA Coaches Poll

The Apprentice School baseball team is currently ranked fifth in the latest U.S. Collegiate Athletic Association Coaches Top 20 released on Monday by the national office.

Apprentice School (17-11) opened the rankings last week also in the fifth slot as they trail Rochester College (Mich) in this week's poll.

The Builders are coming off a 2-0 week where they defeated Virginia State 8-4 on March 27 and Danville CC 7-5 on March 28.  This week they have a three-game week as they open on Wednesday at NCAA Division III third-ranked Christopher Newport University in a 3 pm start at Captains Park.  On Thursday they'll host Rappahannock CC in a 2 pm start at War Memorial Stadium.  They'll close the week with a 5 pm game on Friday against Thomas Nelson CC also at War Memorial Stadium.
