Baseball hosts the Builder Invitational this weekend, kicking things off with a 3 p.m. game against Bloomsburg (Pa.) Thursday at War Memorial Stadium. The Builders (4-2) took three games last weekend against Penn State - Mont Alto, outscoring their opponents by a total of 44-13.

The Huskies (1-2) opened their season with an 11-1 loss to Seton Hill University (Pa.), but rebounded with a dominant 17-0 victory over Indiana University (Pa.). Bloomsburg then lost a close game to the University of Pittsburg at Johnstown last Sunday 8-7.

Play continues Friday at noon for the Apprentice School as they take on Kutztown (Pa.). The Golden Bears (0-4) will be looking for their first win of the season this weekend after dropping a pair of doubleheaders to Mars Hill University (N.C.).

On Saturday, the Builders have a noon meeting with the College of St. Joseph's (Vt.). The Saints (3-7) split doubleheaders against William Carey University (MS) on Feb. 16th and Loyola University (La.) on Feb. 17th. St. Joseph's will pay Kutztown immediately before the game with the Builders.

On Sunday, the #4 seed will face the #5 seed at 9 a.m., the #3 seed will play the winner of the first game at noon, and the #1 and #2 seeds will square off at 3 p.m.
