NEWPORT NEWS - The Apprentice School freshman Hunter Johnson was named the USCAA Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.
In three games played last week, Johnson had nine hits with a .818 batting average and 11 RBI. He also recorded a 1.000 fielding percentage.
This season, Johnson is hitting .473 with eight doubles, two triples and 18 RBI.
The Builders will be at home this weekend against St. Vincent.
