Redman, Johnson Highlight USCAA All-American Selections; Five to All-Academic Team

DUBOIS, Penn. - The Apprentice School baseball team earned four All-American honors, highlighted by first team selections Nick Redman and Hunter Johnson. Additionally, five Builders earned All-Academic honors, the league announced late Sunday night.

Camden Weston earned second team All-American accolades, while Riggs Ellis was an honorable mention. Ellis was joined by Logan Mize, Matt Phoebus, Bryce Post and Tyler Winegrad on the All-Academic Team.

In his freshman campaign, Redman was lights out on the mound, going 8-2 with a save and a 3.52 earned run average. He fanned 88 batters over 71.2 innings of work on the season. Johnson led the Builders at the plate, batting .409 at the plate with a team-high 13 doubles and two triples to go with one homer.

Weston hit .303 in his sophomore season, matching Johnson's doubles total in the process. At shortstop, he helped turn 15 of Apprentice's 22 double plays on the season. Ellis hit .339 as the team's designated hitter for the back half of the season.
