NEWPORT NEWS - The Apprentice School football team will take the field next Saturday to open the season with a Fan Day at the Apprentice Athletic Field. In conjunction with this free event for fans, tickets for all 2023 home games are now on sale.

August 12's Fan Day is free to the public and allows fans to interact with the 2023 Builder football players and coaches ahead of the upcoming season. Photo opportunities with the players and coaches will be available as well as free schedule posters. Concessions will be available for purchase as well.

The gates will open at 11:30 a.m. with an hour of interaction with players and coaches to kick off the day. At 12:30 p.m., the Builders will take the field to take part in some different fan-friendly events to mimic the NFL's Pro Bowl games before running through some full team reps to get ready for the season. The event will conclude around 2 p.m. with more opportunities for photos as fans leave the stadium.

The Apprentice Athletic Club will also be in attendance for fans to be able to sign up or renew their membership for the club. Benefits of the club include tailgate access to games as well as other perks.
