SUFFOLK, Va. - Kai Crockett and Alex Palus were co-medalists as the Apprentice School golf team won Wednesday's tri-match at Sleepy Hole.

Both players shot rounds of 6-over 78 in windy conditions to lead the event, each carding a birdie on the front nine. Palus hit his birdie on No. 2, while Crockett's was on the third hole.

The Builders beat Mid-Atlantic Christian by 33 shots and Elizabeth City State by nearly 90 strokes.

Ethan Flanders and Grant Swanger finished fourth and fifth, respectively, on the individual leaderboard.

The Builders will next compete in the USCAA National Championship starting Monday in State College, Pennsylvania.
