SUFFOLK - The Apprentice School golf team finished in 10th place at the VSGA State Tournament Tuesday at Sleepy Hole.

Ethan Flanders finished as the top Builder on the leaderboard, improving his score by eight shots over Monday's opening round. He would finish with a birdie on the par-5 13th.

On the team leaderboard, Roanoke ran away with the title, besting the field by 20 shots. Hampden-Sydney finished in second place, followed by Southern Virginia.

With the conclusion of the event, the fall season for The Apprentice School has come to a close. Spring 2023 events will be announced at a later date.
