TOLEDO, Ohio - The Apprentice School wrestling squad traveled to Ohio this weekend to participate in the Toledo Thanksgiving Duals. An illness-ridden Apprentice lineup would lose 38-18 to historically dominant NCWA foe Grand Valley State in the first round, followed by a win over an NCWA regional team comprised of several Great Lakes Conference squads. In the final dual, Apprentice would lose on tiebreaking criteria to host Toledo 26-26.

 

Lady Builders Sydnie Dunham and Kiki Powell saw their first action of the season. Dunham, a freshman from Klein, Texas, picked up her first collegiate win over Louisville via first period pin.

 

Standout performances;

Jordan Robins was 3-0 with a tech fall and a major decision at 141. 

Caleb Hartung was 3-0 with three first period pins at 235.
