2014-15 Top 10 Moments: #5 - Lady Builders home win over Eastern Mennonite

Game Story

At #5 in the 2014-15 Apprentice School Top 10 Moments is a return trip to the hardwood as the Lady Builders pulled a big win in mid-December over Eastern Mennonite University at home.

A young Lady Buider squad entered this mid-December contest in a tailspin having lost three of its previous four games, with two of those coming to NCAA Division II opponents.    The guests came in on a run having won six in a row after an opening game loss.

Against a NCAA Division III regional power, and eventual NCAA Tournament team, the Lady Builders put together one of their better games in 2014-15 never trailing in this first-ever meeting.  A Courtney White 3-pointer 44 seconds into the game gave the hosts a lead that they held for all but 78 seconds of the game.  White ended with 18 points to lead four Lady Builders in double figures in the 70-65 win.

The Lady Builders used that win to help propel them into their fourth United States Collegiate Athletic Association National Championship appearance in the last five years.  Eastern Mennonite earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Championships where they won their first round game and finished 23-5 on the year.
