First Apprentice to reach the finals at the prestigious New Standard Corp Invitational which was also his first collegiate wrestling action. Beat defending 133 National Champion from ECU 13-11, wrestling up one weight class.  Athlete of the Week once, Most Dominant Wrestler Award, MAC Champion. 20-2 season record including 12 bonus wins.
