The baseball team had a season for the history books which landed them in the number two slot on the 2012-13 Apprentice School Top 10 Games list.
While it wasnt a single game, but a school-record 34 wins which put them high on the countdown chart. Some of the highlights included:

- Won 10 of first 11 (9 in a row) --best start ever
- Won 21 of first 25
- Finished with school record 34 wins (34-10)
- Winning streaks of 9 and a pair of 7-game streaks
- Ranked #1 in USCAA in 3 of 5 polls
- Team ERA was third best in school history (2.80) – best in nine years
- Opponents batted .230 – third lowest in school history and also best in nine years
- Chris Aldridge tied school record for triples (7)
- Devorn Lake tied school record most intentional walks (4)
- Trevin Wilson/Chris Aldridge tied third most stolen bases in a season (24)
- Sam Massie set school record for saves (6)
- Chris Scarola ties career games played and started record (171)
- Devorn Lake sets career fielding percentage record (.988)
- School best seven players named to USCAA All-Academic Team
- School best three players named to CoSIDA Academic All-District
- Three players named to USCAA First Team All-American and one named USCAA Second Team All-American
- Two players named VaSID Second Team All-State
On Wednesday, a Best Of The Rest list will be released prior to Friday's announcement of the number one game from the 2012-13 season for the Builders.
